Park Rules

Quick Rules
  • No smoking (includes vape) except in a personal vehicle or by the garage behind minors in the marked area.
  • No pets. Service animals allowed (must be clearly marked with a vest).
  • No riding wheeled devices on GTLL property — walk bicycles, scooters, etc.
  • No alcohol or drugs.
  • No golf carts unless parked in a marked parking spot like a car.
  • No profanity. Good sportsmanship is expected.
  • No vehicles on grass. Park only in marked spots.
  • No climbing fences.
Safety & Field Use
  • Batting cages: 1 batter + 1 coach per cage. Helmet required.
  • Batting tee: 1 batter with helmet.
  • No bats swung outside of games except in the batting cages.
  • Dugouts/field access: players, coaches, umpires, board/district officials only.
  • No camping or loitering during baseball or non‑baseball hours.
  • No Gators on any diamond. If transporting materials, stay in foul ground only, next to the fence.
  • Stay out of all flower beds.

Non‑compliance may result in dismissal and possible ban from GTLL property. Bans extend to all other District properties as well.

What time do gates open?
Gates open one hour prior to game time.
Where are your restrooms?
Restrooms with sinks to wash hands are located at the concession stand. Portable restrooms are located by the Junior/Senior Diamond and by the Prep Diamond.
Are pets allowed at the park?
No pets are allowed at the park. Service animals with ID are permissible.
Can I ride a bicycle, skateboard, or other wheeled devices?
No. All bicycles and other wheeled devices must be walked through the park.
Are golf carts allowed at the park?
Yes, but they must be parked in the parking lot like a vehicle. They are not allowed to be driven through the park.
What ages does Georgetown Little League have?
Georgetown Little League offers programs for players ages 3 through 16.
  • Ages 3–5: Rookie (T-Ball, Coach Pitch)
  • Ages 6–8: Prep (Machine Pitch)
  • Ages 9–11: Minor
  • Ages 10–12: Major
  • Age 13: Intermediate
  • Ages 14–15: Junior
  • Ages 15–16: Senior
Where do teams check in?

⚠️ Weather & Safety

Lightning / Severe Weather Protocol
During lightning and severe weather, Georgetown uses an air horn warning system:
  • 1 horn: Everyone go to your cars. This starts a 30-minute delay.
  • 2 horns: Everyone go to your cars and leave the property.
This system is also used in the event of an emergency requiring a full evacuation. You’ll hear two long horns, and staff located at each score tower will relay instructions to evacuate as quickly and safely as possible.
